Michigan generated more per capita marijuana revenue in June than any other state, with residents purchasing over $26.50 worth of legal marijuana per person.
In June, Michigan brought in $268.4 million in marijuana sales for the month, placing it second in total revenue behind only California. But when adjusting for population using the most recent U.S. Census data, Michigan came out on top, with per capita sales nearly $4 higher than the next state.
New Mexico ranked second, with $22.69 in per capita sales. Montana followed closely at $22.45 per person, despite only $25 million in total sales. Missouri and Massachusetts rounded out the top five, at $20.75 and $19.93 per capita, respectively.
