Ontario’s legal marijuana market brought in $187,589,067 in sales for June, nearly matching the $187,694,417 recorded in May.

Altogether, year-to-date sales have reached approximately $1.07 billion, according to the Seattle-based research firm Headset.io.

June’s sales were led by dried flower and pre-rolls, generating $63.66 million and $62.56 million respectively, followed by vapor pens at $33.05 million. Edibles brought in $8.79 million, while concentrates contributed $6.4 million. Beverages accounted for $4.24 million in sales, with capsules at $2.35 million and topicals at $0.58 million.

The average price of dried flower in June was $9.30 per gram, or around $24 per eighth, aligning closely with March averages. GMO Cookies was once again the top-selling strain, continuing its popularity among consumers seeking high-THC, indica-dominant varieties.

Ontario remains Canada’s largest provincial marijuana market, responsible for roughly 40% of all national sales. The next top province is Alberta, which had around $85 million in sales in June.
