Nova Scotia Marijuana Sales Reach Record High in July, Bringing Year-to-Date Total to CA$75 Million

Nova Scotia set a new monthly record for marijuana sales in July, generating CA$12.045 million in revenue.

The figure surpasses all previous monthly totals since legalization in 2018, bringing Nova Scotia’s year-to-date sales to CA$75.773 million and highlighting consistent growth in the province’s regulated market.
According to new data from Statistics Canada, July’s sales edged past the CA$11.4 million reported in May and the CA$11.3 million in June, marking the third consecutive month the province has maintained above CA$11 million in retail sales. Earlier in the year, Nova Scotia’s monthly totals ranged from CA$9.5 million in February to CA$10.5 million in March, reflecting steady momentum leading into summer.

Nova Scotia’s July performance contributed to Canada’s nationwide marijuana sales total of CA$485 million, one of the highest monthly figures on record. Unlike Nova Scotia, however, no other province set a new sales record in July.
