Nevada Cannabis Board Chair Adriana Guzman Fralick Enters Attorney General Race

Adriana Guzman Fralick, chair of the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board, has launched a campaign for attorney general.

Fralick, an attorney with decades of experience in state government and private practice, announced her run with a pledge to bring integrity and transparency to the attorney general’s office. She said her campaign will focus on ensuring that Nevada’s justice system operates fairly and without political influence.

Before leading the Cannabis Compliance Board, Fralick served as general counsel for both the Nevada Ethics Commission and the governor’s office. In her current role, she has overseen a complex and heavily regulated industry, emphasizing accountability and efficiency in an area often under public scrutiny.

Her candidacy highlights sharp differences with the current attorney general, who has faced criticism from conservatives for joining multi-state lawsuits backing federal policies under the Biden administration. Fralick argues that the attorney general’s office should concentrate on protecting victims, supporting law enforcement, and defending constitutional rights, not aligning with partisan agendas.

According to a spokesperson for Fralick, her campaign is expected to center on limiting government overreach and addressing public concerns about crime and prosecution.
