Convenient Cannabis is a Kentucky-based startup who makes Puffsy pods, which are single-serve glass pods that are preloaded with cannabis and fit most standard bongs and pipes. The company plans to soon launch its first round of funding. Puffsy Pods launched last month in California.

The hiring of Dragone was announced by Convenient Cannabis CEO and Founder Zechariah Corcimiglia, who notes that Dragone is not an investor in the company, says he will serve as the CFO and strategic adviser for the company.

“He has this large network of venture capitalists and angel investors,” Corcimiglia told MJBizDaily. “He is coming on as an equity partner and getting us ready for our Series A round of financing.”

Corcimiglia said the company is looking to raise $1 million on a $10 million valuation. Proceeds will be used to expand marketing and sales as the company seeks more licensing and distribution deals for Puffsy pods across the United States.

The pods fit into most common bong stems and pipes and are ready for immediate use. This eliminates the process of grinding and packing flower into smoking devices.

“We mitigate all that. We’re selling convenience,” said Corcimiglia. “I’m basically trying to build this model off of a Keurig business model.”
