As of July 1, 2015, individuals aged 21 and older are allowed to possess up to two ounces of usable marijuana in public and up to eight ounces at home. Additionally, adults may possess up to 16 ounces of cannabinoid products in solid form, 72 ounces in liquid form, and one ounce of cannabinoid extracts purchased from a licensed retailer. Revenue from these taxes is allocated as follows: 40% to the State School Fund, 20% to mental health and treatment services, 15% to the State Police, 20% to local law enforcement, and 5% to the Oregon Health Authority for drug treatment and prevention programs.
