Canada’s legal marijuana market continued its steady momentum in November, with nationwide sales reaching CA$477.866 million, according to newly released data. The figure represents one of the strongest monthly totals of the year and pushes cumulative 2025 sales past the CA$5 billion mark as the country heads into the final stretch of the calendar year.
Ontario once again dominated provincial sales, recording approximately CA$177 million for the month. Alberta followed with roughly CA$81 million, while British Columbia posted CA$78 million and Quebec reported CA$67 million. These four provinces accounted for the vast majority of national activity, reflecting the continued strength of Canada’s largest retail markets.
November’s total also represents a notable increase from October’s CA$451.7 million, signaling sustained consumer demand and a stable retail environment across the country. Monthly sales have now remained well above the CA$400 million threshold for much of the year, underscoring the maturity and consistency of Canada’s regulated marijuana industry.
With eleven months now recorded, Canada’s legal marijuana sector has already surpassed CA$5 billion in sales for 2025. The pace puts the industry on track to challenge or exceed previous annual records, supported by a well-established distribution system, dense storefront networks in key provinces, and ongoing consumer participation.
As the year draws to a close, Canada’s marijuana market continues to demonstrate both resilience and growth, with November standing out as one of the strongest months of 2025.
