Teen Mom’s Jenelle Evans Wants to Normalize Cannabis Use for Moms, Plans to Launch Cannabis Brand

Jenelle Evans, known for her time on MTV’s Teen Mom, says she’s working to launch a cannabis brand—and she’s not shy about her motivations.

“It’s no secret that I smoke,” said Evans in a recent interview, adding that she believes it’s time to destigmatize marijuana use among mothers. “I think it’s very important for me to normalize it for other mothers, because a lot of people are looked down upon because they smoke.”

Evans, who now lives in Las Vegas where marijuana is legal, compared cannabis use to having “a glass of wine at the end of the night.” She says fans have been asking about a potential cannabis line for some time and that it’s still in the works, with hopes of launching by fall.

The former reality star—mom to three children, including a teenage son and a young daughter—emphasized that cannabis use doesn’t make her a bad parent. Instead, she says it’s helped her find peace and stability in her life after what she describes as a toxic marriage and a difficult separation.

While she’s focused on building a future in the cannabis space, Evans says her broader mission is to help break down stereotypes. “I just feel like I’m very happy that the ball is in my court right now,” she said, adding that she’s found strength in parenting on her own terms.

Evans is now navigating a fresh chapter—one she hopes includes a successful cannabis brand and more acceptance for mothers who choose marijuana.
