This total, based on an analysis by The Marijuana Herald, represents a marginal decrease from September’s $1.877 billion, highlighting the market’s stability. Sales data for most states was sourced from their regulatory bodies overseeing the marijuana industry. In instances where this data was unavailable, figures from the research firm Headset were used.
Looking ahead, monthly revenues are expected to rise in 2025 as Delaware and Minnesota prepare to launch their legal marijuana markets.

- Colorado: $102 million (-$2 million from previous month)
- Connecticut: $24 million (+$1 million from previous month)
- Illinois: $158 million (-$10 million from previous month)
- Maryland: $96 million (-$1 million from previous month)
- Massachusetts: $145 million (same as previous month)
- Maine: $21 million (-$3 million from previous month)
- Michigan: $269 million (+$4 million from previous month)
- Missouri: $121 million (+$4 million from previous month)
- Montana: $27 million (same as previous month)
- Nevada: $58 million (same as previous month)
- New Mexico: $47 million (-$1 million from previous month)
- New York: $92 million (-$8 million from previous month)
- Ohio: $80 million (-$4 million from previous month)
- Oregon: $80 million (+$2 million from previous month)
- Rhode Island: $10 million (same as previous month)
- Vermont: $12 million (same as previous month)
- Washington: $101 million (+$3 million from previous month)
These sales resulted in roughly $350 million in combined tax revenue.
