What hasn’t received nearly as much attention is a recent thumb surgery that Durant quietly underwent. According to NBA reporter Chris Baldwin, the procedure was minor and went unreported until now. Sources told Baldwin that the Rockets’ medical staff reviewed X-rays and had no concerns, with Durant expected to be fully ready for training camp.
