Licensed marijuana dispensaries across the U.S. sold approximately $2.34 billion worth of products in April, pushing nationwide sales for 2026 to about $9.01 billion through the first four months of the year. This follows $2.3 billion in sales in March, $212 billion in February, and $2.25 billion in January
The Marijuana Herald compiled the figures using state-level sales reports from regulatory agencies, supplemented by data from the research firm Headset when state-issued monthly totals were not available. The review includes 23 adult-use markets and five of the country’s largest medical-only marijuana programs.
