Montana’s marijuana industry closed out November with another strong showing, continuing the steady pace that has defined the market throughout 2025.
The state recorded $26,639,158 in combined marijuana sales for the month, marking the ninth consecutive month in which total revenue exceeded $25 million.
According to figures released by the Montana Department of Revenue, adult-use sales once again drove the market, totaling $23,767,196 in November. Medical sales added $2,871,961, a level that has remained relatively consistent as the patient registry stabilizes and adult-use transactions make up an increasing share of overall activity.
With November’s results added in, Montana has now reached $300 million in marijuana sales so far this year. The state’s all-time cumulative total has climbed to $1,246,580,484 since adult-use stores first opened, underscoring how quickly the market has matured in less than four years.
The continuation of monthly sales above the $25 million threshold reflects sustained consumer demand and a stable retail environment heading into the final month of the year. Retailers have now maintained that level of performance since early spring, indicating that both new and returning customers are keeping the market on solid footing as 2025 nears its close.
