Oregon closed out 2025 with $77,056,886 in marijuana sales in December, bringing 2025’s total to $925,814,689, according to new data released today by the state’s Liquor and Cannabis Commission.
December’s total was similar to the $78 million sold in December 2024, despite prices being over 5% lower. The average retail price for usable marijuana in December remained at the all-time low of $3.33 per gram, while concentrates continued to average about $15 per gram.
With December included, Oregon’s all-time legal marijuana sales now stand at approximately $8.111 billion since the state launched recreational sales in 2016, further cementing its status as one of the most established marijuana markets in the country.
Usable marijuana remains the dominant category, accounting for about $4.2 billion in lifetime sales. Concentrates have generated roughly $2 billion in total revenue, while edibles and tinctures have contributed close to $950 million. The remaining sales are spread across topicals, accessories and other tracked product categories.
Although Oregon’s mature market continues to face challenges tied to prolonged low prices and business sustainability, consumer demand has remained resilient. As 2026 begins, the state continues to rank among national leaders in per-capita marijuana spending, with its long-running market serving as a key benchmark for other legal states.
