Oregon’s legal marijuana market recorded $74,315,146 in sales in January, a slight 2% decrease from the $76.3 million sold in January 2025, according to data from the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission.
Despite the small drop in total revenue, prices continued their steady decline across multiple categories.
The average price per gram of marijuana flower fell to $3.33 in January, down roughly 5% from the $3.50 average recorded one year earlier. Concentrates saw a similar drop. The average price per gram of concentrate was $15 in January 2026, a 5.3% decrease from nearly $16 in January 2025.
With January’s numbers included, Oregon’s all-time legal marijuana sales have now reached $8.186 billion since regulated sales began.
Multnomah County recorded the highest sales total in the state at $16.5 million. Washington County and Malheur County followed with around $8 million each. Lane County posted $6.8 million in sales, and Marion County recorded $5.5 million.
By category, 41% of January sales came from “Usable MJ.” Concentrates accounted for 26% of sales, while edibles and tinctures made up 15%. “Inhalable products with non-cannabis additives” represented 12% of sales, with the remainder falling into other categories.
Oregon remains one of the lowest-price marijuana markets in the country, a dynamic that continues to shape total revenue even as demand remains steady.
