President Trump Promised Multiple People This Week That He Will Reschedule Cannabis

A longtime senior advisor to President Trump told The Marijuana Herald today that the president informed “multiple people” this week that he is going to reschedule cannabis.

The advisor told us “An announcement is coming, I have no doubt, but patience is key.”

They said that although they initially expected an announcement to come this week or last week, “it’s not surprising it would get pushed back a little. There’s a lot going on right now, especially when it comes to Venezuela.”

They clarified that “this does not mean an announcement isn’t coming. We just have to be patient. Our president is aware of how many people are yearning for this, and I don’t think he’s going to make us wait much longer.”

The advisor added that although he believes an announcement is imminent, “Trump isn’t going to be rushed.”

The Marijuana Herald also spoke this evening with a celebrity well-known in the cannabis community, who confirmed that he was one of the people who was personally promised by Trump this week that he is going to reschedule cannabis.

“I take President Trump at his word”, said the celebrity, who asked to remain anonymous but promised to speak to us on the record once an announcement is officially made. “He told me to my face that he will reschedule. So to me, he’ll do it. It will come any minute now.”

Trump is considering a move that would reschedule cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III. When an official announcement will be made is currently unknown.
