U.S. Marijuana Sales Reach $2.12 Billion in February, Up Nearly 10% From a Year Ago

Legal cannabis stores across the United States generated over $2.12 billion in sales in February, a notable increase over the $1.97 billion sold in February 2025.

Using the latest monthly cannabis sales figures from state regulatory agencies and when needed the research firm Headset, The Marijuana Herald found that legal marijuana sales in the United States totaled $2.12 billion in February, up roughly 8% from the same month in 2025.

The gain came from a mix of adult-use and medical markets, with many states continuing to post strong overall sales even as prices remain under pressure in some of the country’s more established marijuana industries. The total is based primarily on official state-reported data, with Headset market figures used in select cases to help fill gaps where needed.

This review includes 23 states with legal adult-use sales, along with five of the nation’s largest medical-only marijuana markets.

Here’s the full state-by-state breakdown for February.
