Florida’s medical marijuana market has now surpassed 11.2 billion milligrams of THC and 3.8 million ounces of smokable marijuana sold so far in 2026, according to the newest weekly updates from the state’s Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU).
The July 3 report shows that medical marijuana treatment centers dispensed 453,621,704 milligrams of THC and 158,700.960 ounces of smokable marijuana during the week of June 26 through July 2. That followed 412,248,211 milligrams of THC and 145,910.779 ounces of smokable marijuana dispensed during the week of June 19 through June 25.
Combined with previously reported totals, Florida’s year-to-date total now stands at 11,242,267,715 milligrams of THC and 3,834,016.668 ounces of marijuana in a form for smoking.
The latest report also shows continued growth in the state’s patient registry. Florida now has 934,994 qualified patients with active ID cards, up from 933,183 in the prior weekly report and 932,670 two weeks earlier. The new patient total is around 5,000 more than the total from the end of May.
The number of approved dispensing locations increased to 768, with OMMU reporting that MÜV was approved for a new location in Tallahassee during the week of June 26 through July 2.
Trulieve once again led the state by volume, dispensing 118,847,221 milligrams of THC and 54,649.225 ounces of smokable marijuana from 169 locations.
MÜV followed with 54,692,528 milligrams of THC and 19,891.448 ounces, while Curaleaf Florida reported 50,754,121 milligrams of THC and 16,467.416 ounces. Ayr Cannabis Dispensary dispensed 43,207,837 milligrams of THC and 9,743.520 ounces.
Other operators with notable weekly totals included GTI Florida, with 19,877,596 milligrams of THC and 4,356.687 ounces; Sunburn, with 15,332,918 milligrams of THC and 3,217.427 ounces; GrowHealthy, with 15,224,221 milligrams of THC and 3,531.581 ounces; and Surterra Wellness, with 14,771,012 milligrams of THC and 5,042.722 ounces.
Florida voters legalized medical marijuana in 2016 through Amendment 2. The state’s program remains medical-only and vertically integrated, meaning licensed medical marijuana treatment centers are authorized to cultivate, process and dispense cannabis. Patients are generally allowed to receive up to 2.5 ounces of smokable marijuana every 35 days unless granted an exemption by their physician, and Florida does not impose a statewide excise tax on medical marijuana.
