Trulieve Cannabis Corp. will ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) today, August 18, celebrating its June listing as the first U.S. cannabis company to trade on the exchange.
Trulieve Founder and Chief Executive Officer Kim Rivers will be joined by members of the company’s board of directors and executive leadership team for the ceremony, scheduled for 4 p.m. Eastern Time.
The Florida-based multistate marijuana operator began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol TRLV on June 10.
“Ringing The Closing Bell at the New York Stock Exchange is an incredible honor and a proud moment for everyone who has contributed to Trulieve’s success,” Rivers said. “Our NYSE listing represents the culmination of years of disciplined execution, operational excellence, and a commitment to creating long-term value for our shareholders.”
Trulieve operates 207 medical marijuana dispensaries and employs more than 5,000 people, with approximately 3.5 million square feet of cultivation and production capacity across Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Following the federal move of state-licensed medical marijuana to Schedule III in April, Trulieve said all 207 of its medical dispensaries were registered with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Inspections have been completed at its operations in Florida, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
The company is also preparing to expand its presence in Texas, where it says initial production capacity is ready for final inspection and it has developed a retail pipeline covering all 11 public health regions. Operations would begin following receipt of final licensure under the Texas Compassionate Use Program.
In Georgia, Trulieve said expansion of the state’s medical marijuana program under Senate Bill 220 has helped accelerate patient enrollment while allowing the company to introduce additional vape and inhalable flower products.
Trulieve reported $109 million in cash flow from operations during the first half of 2026 and ended the second quarter with $325 million in cash.
The company’s NYSE closing bell ceremony will be streamed and archived by the exchange.
