Washington, D.C.’s Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Board today approved all eight recommendations on its medical cannabis licensing agenda, covering new retailer applications, license transfers and safekeeping requests.
The actions were taken during the board’s September 16 meeting. Eight medical cannabis matters were up for consideration, including three involving retailers, one cultivation center, one manufacturer and three requests involving licenses without current locations.
Among the retailer matters was a status review involving Elite Prodigy, operating as The Warehouse at 2210 5th Street NE. The company is seeking a medical cannabis retailer license with delivery, education tasting, summer garden and safe-use treatment facility endorsements.
The board also approved its recommendation concerning the transfer of a social equity internet retailer application from ZMTS LLC, operating as Gifted Curators, to The Cannopy LLC at 1922 I Street NW.
Another item involved JD&MA LLC, operating as Blunt Sluts Cannabis Parlour at 1221 Pennsylvania Avenue SE. The company is seeking a new social equity retailer license with delivery, education tasting and safe-use treatment facility endorsements.
For cultivation, the board acted on a request to transfer a social equity cultivation center application from Maven Wellness Group to Noble Farms LLC, which lists a location at 2060 West Virginia Avenue NE.
The manufacturer item involved a request to transfer a Type 1 manufacturer application from Elevated Holdings LLC, operating as Adose Wellness, to Luma LLC. The agenda notes that the ownership remains the same. The proposed facility is located at 2149 Queens Chapel Road NE.
The remaining three matters were original safekeeping requests involving SK Quality Services, operating as Blunt DC; Pot & Goods LLC; and Power of Plants LLC, operating as Mr. Nice Guys. All three currently list no location on the licensing agenda.
The board also approved two items on its separate Medical Cannabis Licensing Administrative Docket. One removes Amran Pasha as an owner of Nugg Heaven LLC, operating as The Dispensary at 1412 9th Street NW, a medical cannabis retailer with a delivery endorsement. The other approves the transfer of a Tier 2 cultivation center license
