Jushi Holdings Receives Federal DEA Registrations for Medical Marijuana Operations

Jushi Holdings Inc. announced today that it has received federal registrations from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for certain state-licensed medical marijuana operations, joining a growing number of companies receiving federal authorization under the Trump administration’s medical marijuana rescheduling framework.

The Boca Raton, Florida-based company, which operates marijuana businesses across multiple states, said the registrations were issued as part of the DEA’s initial approval process for qualifying medical marijuana operators.

The announcement follows the Attorney General’s April 2026 order moving qualifying state-licensed medical marijuana to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act. The order established a federal regulatory framework allowing eligible businesses operating under state medical marijuana programs to obtain DEA registrations.

Jushi previously announced on May 28 that it had submitted its federal registration applications. The company did not specify how many registrations it received or identify which facilities or states were covered by the approvals.

“Receiving DEA registrations represents an important milestone for Jushi and the medical patients we serve,” said Jim Cacioppo, the company’s chief executive officer. “We appreciate the efforts of the Trump Administration and the DEA in advancing meaningful cannabis reform and recognizing state-licensed medical cannabis operators.”

Cacioppo added that the company believes the registrations represent progress toward greater consistency between state and federal marijuana regulations.

The approvals place Jushi among the multistate marijuana operators receiving federal registrations following the April order, which established a new regulatory pathway for state-licensed medical marijuana businesses. The registrations are distinct from the broader federal marijuana rescheduling process, which remains pending.

Jushi is a vertically integrated marijuana company with cultivation, manufacturing and retail operations. Its shares trade on the Canadian Securities Exchange under JUSH and on the OTCQX market under the same symbol.

The company did not announce any immediate operational changes associated with the registrations or provide a timeline for additional federal approvals.
