Trulieve Cannabis Corp. has opened a new medical marijuana dispensary in Dunwoody, Georgia, expanding its presence in DeKalb County and the broader Atlanta area.
The company announced the opening September 4, with a grand opening celebration scheduled for September 10. The new dispensary is located at 4675 N. Shallowford Road, Suite 100.
The September 10 event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m., along with storewide discounts, merchandise giveaways and a food truck.
Trulieve CEO Kim Rivers said the location is intended to expand access to medical marijuana for patients throughout Metro Atlanta and provide another retail option for patients in the Dunwoody area.
The dispensary is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Products available at the location include capsules, inhalable flower, tinctures, topicals, troches and vaporizers. The store carries products from several Trulieve brands, including Modern Flower, Momenta, Roll One and Trulieve.
Trulieve operates medical marijuana businesses in Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The company is vertically integrated and operates cultivation, processing and retail operations across several state markets.
The Dunwoody opening comes as Trulieve continues expanding its retail footprint in Georgia, where medical marijuana patients can purchase approved products through licensed dispensaries and pharmacy partners.
Trulieve is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol TRLV.
