Planet 13 Holdings Inc., a vertically integrated marijuana company, has opened its newest Florida dispensary in DeLand, marking its 33rd store in the state and its 37th nationwide.
The DeLand dispensary, located at 309 Woodland Boulevard in the city’s historic downtown near Stetson University, officially opened its doors this week. It will operate daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and serve nearby communities including Deltona and Orange City.
“We’re thrilled to expand our presence along the bustling I-4 corridor in DeLand while serving the nearby communities of Deltona and Orange City with Planet 13’s award-winning products,” said Bob Groesbeck, Co-CEO of Planet 13. He added that the location benefits from high visibility and accessibility, while reinforcing the company’s goal of pairing premium cannabis products with strong community ties.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for November 15, featuring exclusive giveaways, local vendors, and promotional events for customers.
Planet 13 is best known for operating the largest marijuana dispensary in the United States just off the Las Vegas Strip, and it continues to expand its national presence with recent openings in Illinois and the debut of its Las Vegas consumption lounge, DAZED!. The company says Florida remains a key growth market as it builds its brand across multiple states.
With the addition of the DeLand location, Planet 13 now operates 12 dispensaries across the U.S., underscoring its growing footprint in both established and emerging marijuana markets.
