In November, several familiar strains held strong at the top across the nation’s legal marijuana markets, with some newcomers breaking through as shifting consumer preferences pushed a few long-running favorites off the list.
Drawing from data released by state regulatory agencies and cannabis commissions, and using figures from the Seattle-based research firm Headset when official numbers were unavailable, below is a breakdown of the top-selling strain in every legal state as of November 2025.
As in previous months, Virginia is excluded because it remains the only legal state without licensed sales (although that may soon change), and Minnesota is not included because its adult-use market is not yet operational.
