Goldflower Cannabis has opened its 13th medical marijuana dispensary in Florida, marking its eighth new location in the past eight months as the company continues a rapid statewide expansion.
The new dispensary is located at 16714 U.S. Highway 441 in Summerfield and will serve patients in The Villages and surrounding Central Florida communities. The location places Goldflower just minutes from The Villages, “one of the nation’s largest active adult communities, a region known for its focus on health and wellness.”
Company President Angelo Lombardi said the opening represents a continued push to strengthen Goldflower’s presence in Central Florida. He said the company is focused on bringing its patient-first approach, premium products and elevated retail experience to the growing patient base in the region.
Goldflower operates 13 licensed medical marijuana treatment centers across Florida through a vertically integrated model that includes cultivation, extraction, manufacturing and retail operations. The company says its expansion strategy centers on maintaining product consistency and a patient-centric experience as it scales.
The Summerfield store adds to a growing list of Goldflower locations statewide, with additional dispensaries planned for Tallahassee, Gainesville, Jacksonville and Punta Gorda, pending regulatory approval.
Florida’s medical marijuana program continues to see steady growth in both patients and retail outlets, with operators racing to secure market share in key population centers. Goldflower’s latest opening underscores the competitive expansion underway across the state’s regulated marijuana market.
