According to new data from the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU), medical cannabis dispensaries have sold around 10 billion milligrams of THC sold so far this year (as of June 12), with smokable marijuana sales surpassing 3.3 million ounces.
The latest reports from OMMU show that medical marijuana treatment centers dispensed 418,772,014 milligrams of THC and 146,170.818 ounces of smokable marijuana during the week of June 5 through June 11. That came one week after dispensaries reported 421,449,574 milligrams of THC and 149,554.939 ounces of smokable marijuana for the period covering May 29 through June 4.
Together, the two newest weekly reports bring Florida’s 2026 totals to 9,946,519,131 milligrams of THC and 3,380,296.499 ounces of marijuana in a form for smoking.
The state’s active patient count also moved higher in the newest report, reaching 931,252 qualified patients with active ID cards. That’s up from 930,513 the previous week.
Florida had 767 approved dispensing locations as of the June 12 report, unchanged from the previous week. The week before, regulators approved one new dispensing location: Fino Cannabis in Clermont.
Trulieve remained the state’s largest operator by weekly volume, dispensing 113,065,422 milligrams of THC and 49,598.264 ounces of smokable marijuana from 169 locations during the most recent reporting period.
Curaleaf Florida followed with 49,418,669 milligrams of THC and 16,283.508 ounces, while MÜV reported 49,284,798 milligrams of THC and 17,073.599 ounces. Ayr Cannabis Dispensary dispensed 37,558,015 milligrams of THC and 9,000.915 ounces.
Other top operators included GTI Florida, with 18,836,375 milligrams of THC and 3,753.126 ounces, and Surterra Wellness, with 16,022,318 milligrams of THC and 6,747.077 ounces.
Florida voters legalized medical marijuana in 2016 through Amendment 2. The state’s system remains medical-only and vertically integrated, meaning licensed medical marijuana treatment centers are authorized to cultivate, process and dispense cannabis. Patients are generally allowed up to 2.5 ounces of smokable marijuana every 35 days unless a physician approves an exemption, and Florida does not impose a statewide excise tax on medical marijuana.
