Aurora Cannabis Becomes First Marijuana Company Named to TIME Canada’s Best Companies List

Aurora Cannabis announced today that it has been named to TIME’s Canada’s Best Companies 2026 list, becoming the first cannabis company to receive the recognition.

The annual ranking, compiled by TIME in collaboration with Statista, evaluated Canadian companies with at least US$100 million in revenue and positive three-year revenue growth. Companies were assessed based on employee satisfaction, revenue growth and sustainability transparency, with just 125 businesses making the final list.

“This is a proud milestone for Aurora and a meaningful recognition of our leadership strength in Canada,” said Miguel Martin, the company’s CEO and executive chairman. “Above all, this recognition belongs to our people. Every day, our teams bring deep expertise, care and commitment to advancing medical cannabis globally, and being named to TIME’s Canada’s Best Companies 2026 list is a powerful signal of the progress we’ve made, the credibility we’ve earned, and the standard we continue to set.”

According to Aurora, the recognition reflects its focus on employee development, workplace wellness and community engagement, alongside its continued expansion in international medical marijuana markets.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Aurora is one of the world’s largest medical marijuana companies, serving patients in Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand through brands including Aurora, MedReleaf, Pedanios, IndiMed, San Raf and Whistler Medical Marijuana Corporation. The company operates Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)-certified production facilities in both Canada and Germany.

Aurora’s shares trade on the Nasdaq and the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ACB.
